I have been using DSLRs for several years, and currently use the Canon 40D and a wide selection of lenses. I bought this camera as a pocket camera that is easy to take anywhere, and for its HD video capability, as I’m currently in Thailand for several weeks doing some geology research for my master’s thesis, and it’s impractical and annoying to lug around my big camera everywhere.
